I'm writing in reference to a kitten I found about 6 weeks ago. I never intended to keep her but she was too small (no more than 2 to 3 weeks old when I found her) and I didn't want to give her to the Rocky Mount Animal Shelter because they aren't a "no kill" shelter.

My kids love her (I have 4 daughters and a grand-daughter). She is litter box trained and has been inside the house since I found her. She loves to play (rap in the middle of the night). In the beginning she was on cat milk and I weaned her off several weeks ago. We have come to love her but my husband doesn't like cats. He said it was ok as long as I kept trying to find her a good home. We are leaving Monday evening for our cruise and need to have "Alley" a home by then or I'll have to take her to the shelter.

Please help - thank you.

I am in desperate need of finding a home for some abandonded kittens.  I am currently keeping them in my garage along with their mother.

I would love to keep them all, but my cat is very agressive and I am afraid of what she might do to them

I would appreciate any help you can give me.  I live in Smithfield.

Thank You,,

This little kitten showed up right when we got out of the car a few
nights ago. None of my neighbors have claimed him (in fact one
suggested he may have been dropped off). He's about 5-6 weeks old & a
gray tabby with spots on his stomach. He has big ears & kind of long
legs, so I think he'll end up being a big boy. He's SUPER outgoing,
very friendly towards everybody/thing, likes to play but loves to be
petted & cuddled. I have too many pets & not enough money to keep him,
but if I could I would. He seems to be very healthy (no upper
respiratory infections that are common to stray kittens). He comes
when called & loves to follow you around. He's been sleeping on my
doormat but I have let him in for an hour or so at the time, a few
times, after he just cried & cried to come in. He knows how to use the
litterbox. Contact Megan at

siamese kitties still desperately seeking a forever home ....

my friend in west mount hasn't found anyone to take one or more of these little ones; she is unemployed and her husband on disability -- they literally cannot afford to keep them any longer.  three females and one male; i believe.  litter-trained, very affectionate and kept inside thus far.  i'm willing to cover rabies vaccines.

please contact me so these little cuties don't end up at the shelter.  thanks;

    **PLEASE HELP!!!!**
I am being laid off from my job tomorrow, we have had to move and just found out we can not have pets. We have 2 cats (male & female, brother & sister, 3 years old, spayed and neutered, litter box trained, and up to date shots), we have had them since they were 5 weeks old but we have to give them up by the end of this week. I am scared to take them to a shelter, I know they will be put down and there are no "no kill shelters" that will take anymore cats. IF you can help me or know anyone who can PLEASE PLEASE call me asap. Thank you in advance for your assistance...you are my last hope. ~Heather

Missy's Moms Kitties

These 4 kittens were born at the end of April and have been wideopen ever since!  They are getting to be more than we can handle and I need to find them a loving home or homes.  Unfortunately, we are unable to have them inside and we are worried that they will get hurt since they are starting to roam away from the only home they have known.  They are eating, playing and they have LOTS of energy.

We will miss them, but we know that finding them someone that can give them all that we can not is the right thing to do.

If you are interested in any or all 4 of these kittens, please contact 446-6451.

Missy's Kittens

I have 3 kittens that I found in my backyard a little over a week ago and they are in need of a loving home.  Not sure how old they are or if they are male or female.  The mother has disappeared and these little things are counting on me to take care of them.  I'm doing the best that I can, but I am unable to keep them.

They are eating well and having a ball playing and attacking eachother.  We are giving them LOTS of love and attention, but I know they need more.  I'm afraid vet visits are just not in my budget.

If you are interested in any or all 3 of these cute little things, please get in touch with Animal Crackers or e-mail
Missyinrmt@aol.com or call 972-3314.

The Story of Pearl and her Babies

UPDATED 6/20/11: Tux had found his forever home!

UPDATED 7/11/11  Smokey has found his forever home!

One day in February I was eating lunch at La Perla Tapatio restaurant when I noticed an injured cat at the next rail car (behind AAA Travel).  Borrowing a trap from a friend, I tried in vain to get the injured one, but instead got its little friend, a beautiful young female with a creamy coat that I immediately named Pearl.

As it turns out, Pearl was around 2 weeks pregnant when I got her and blessed us with Five Little Angels on April 14th.

Every one of them has different markings, and different personalities to boot!   All are litter-trained, eating solid food, de-wormed, and people friendly.   All are in need of a good, safe home!

PJ – Male -  Gray and Black Striped Tabby w light green eyes.  PJ is sociable and very playful!  LOVES to play and fight with his siblings, especially Bear.   PJ will be a big male cat, and will likely rule the house or yard!

Bear – Female – Solid black w green eyes.  Bear is VERY sweet and social.   She will definitely be a Lap Cat.    Her main play buddy is PJ, so they would be great together as a litter mate adoption.

Lil Baby – Female – creamy w light tabby markings and darker striped tail with green/hazel eyes.  Looks like her momma.  :>)   She was the runt, so I named her  “Lil Baby”.  She is a beautiful cat, and has a face  that is extremely photogenic and sweet.  Lil Baby does the best Crab Walk of all of them, and LOVES to play!

UPDATE:  Tux has been adopted – Male – Black and White “Tuxedo”  markings.  Smokey has been adopted – Female – Chocolate Siamese markings.

For each kitten adopted, I will give $25 towards vetting.  If anyone gets two, that would be $50 towards vetting.   They are ready for their first vaccinations!

Hello, I need to find homes for 3 stray kittens I have recently rescued.  I have one male (Gray Tabby) and 2 females (Tan Tabby and White).  They are probably about 6-8 weeks old.  I haven’t be able to afford to get them all their shots which is why I am trying my best to find them GOOD HOMES!  I would prefer if at all possible that at least 2 of them stay together.  I am planning on keeping the last one to go.  They play great with my Pomeranian and my adult male cat.  They are litter box trained and eat hard kitten food.  They are all in good spirits and love to play and cuddle.  I don’t want to call the human society but I can’t keep them all.  Please help find me these sweet babies good homes.  I have attached pictures of them as well.  Thanks so much!!!  Please contact Jennifer Erb at jerb@fcapackaging.com.
