Dear Friends and Supporters of ANIMAL CRACKERS,

 

We are pleased to announce that ANIMAL CRACKERS has once again been approved for participation in Fun Run for Charities.  We are excited that we have been chosen to be part of this event aimed at increasing public awareness of the great programs and services that Rocky Mount has to offer its citizens.

 

ANIMAL CRACKERS is a grassroots organization made up of concerned volunteers who want to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and pet owners in the Rocky Mount area.  ANIMAL CRACKERS volunteers work out of their homes, advocating for animals and promoting responsible pet ownership through local outreach programs.  We are a private, non-profit organization that runs entirely on the generosity of volunteers and supporters.  We need your help – any money you donate to ANIMAL CRACKERS through Reach Out Rocky Mount will be increased by the amount of the match, so it’s a great time to give!

 

Last year 2000 animals were taken into our city shelter; 744 were adopted and 1291 were euthanized.  Hundreds more lost their lives in Nash and Edgecombe Counties...  Help us make a difference!!  Funds raised from the Fun Run for Charities 2011 will be used to further our goals of providing reduced price spay/neuter programs; providing educational programs; raising awareness; and operating our pet food bank.  We are proud to report that over the past five months, ANIMAL CRACKERS has helped to spay or neuter 100 animals!  Your support will help us to continue to reduce the number of homeless and abandoned animals in our community.

 

You can make an online donation at www.FunRunRM.org.  The campaign runs through May 31, 2011.  THROW US A BONE!  Help support our cause by making a donation to us through the Fun Run for Charities 2011.  And please join us on Saturday, May 14th for a day of fun!  Join in the run/walk or the sanctioned 5K and 10K races.  We thank you in advance for your contribution and we hope to see you there.
